While Sunday School
classes meet during the worship service, children attend
the first portion of worship with their family. After
the opening of the service, they are invited to the
front of the church to participate in a shared Time
With the Children led by the Pastor or lay leader.At
the conclusion of this time they go to their classes
for age appropriate stories, songs, and activities.
Of course, children are welcome to remain
in the church service. We currently offer a pre-school
class and an intermediate class for children ages seven
to twelve. Young adults in the seventh and eight grade
attend Confirmation Class led by the Pastor and other
leaders of the congregation.
Children are also a joyful
part of many special church celebrations such as Palm
Sunday, Easter, and Christmas. Participation may include
children's choirs, processions, drama, or art presentations.
