The July Fellowship Group activity was a picnic at Guy & Becky Malick’s house in Ortley Beach. People signed up to bring food to share: an hors d’oeuvre, a side dish, or a dessert. They provided the hot dogs, the hamburgers, and all the “fixins.” In addition, people brought something to help Pastor Steve’s Lakewood Outreach Ministry. Pastor Steve spoke at our church last summer. In addition to providing tents and blankets to the homeless, he has a bus with household amenities (showers, washer, dryer, etc.) for these people to use.
