Our goal is for you to come through the doors of the Toms River UCC and immediately feel like you belong. The congregation is made up of a diverse group of individuals from a variety of backgrounds who share the same ideals when it comes to church... all of us are God's children.
What does this mean to you? It means that visitors and members alike are treated with the respect and love that is the basis of the Christian faith. If you are new to the area, or are just visiting the Jersey Shore, or maybe you are dissatisfied with your past or present experiences with organized religion, the Toms River UCC is the place for you.
The atmosphere is relaxed but reverent and the messages delivered by Pastor Linda Holzbaur are as enlightening and relevant as they are entertaining and thought provoking. Following the sermon, the congregation and visitors take advantage of the weekly coffee hour to talk to friends and family.
